Located in the Brice Creek neighborhood, Upper Trestle Creek Falls may not be raging with water but it is beautifully placed in a giant mossy rock bowl. While Lower Trestle Creek Falls is .75 mile hike in to the falls, Upper Trestle Creek Falls is a more difficult 1.1 miles up trail but worth the hike in!
To find the lower falls follow the Brice Creek Trail to the left on once you cross the bridge (you can park on the other side by the restroom). You can either take this hike back towards the road or loop up to Upper Trestle Creek Falls. If you wanted to only hike the upper falls the trailhead is about 25 feet further up the road from the Brice Creek trail head.
You will want to take the time to hike down to the bottom part of the falls and underneath and enjoy the views.
Directions: From Eugene take the I-5 South towards Cottage Grove. Exit 174 and take an immeditate left at the lights. Continue straight for 11 miles and follow Row River road on the right side of Dorena Lake. Take for another 14 miles up Row River road and stay right at the fork towards Brice Creek. Once you pass Hobo campground on your left the parking lot will soon follow. Trailhead will be across the bridge on the left (both Brice Creek and Upper Trestle Falls).
